Kedesh Rehabilitation Services (KRS) is committed to delivering quality, evidence based services and developing skilled clinicians in the sector to treat co-occurring mental illness and substance misuse.


Mental Illness Substance Use Program (MISU) 

The Mental Illness Substance Use (MISU) Program is designed to provide individualised and supported training to meet the needs of staff and management within your organisation. The emphasis is on promoting organisational development in the way complex clients are assessed, treated and understood. Some of the topics covered in the MISU Program are;

  • Duty of Care
  • CBT
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Suicide
  • Self harm
  • Self care
  • Sleep hygiene
  • Journal writing
  • Goal setting
  • Problematic relating styles

To be eligible to apply for the MISU Program you must meet the below criteria:

Be located in NSW
Be a Non-Government Organisation (NGO)
Be a drug and alcohol service provider
Either a residential or non-residential service


Student Placement  

KRS partners with several educational institutions including The Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), The University of Wollongong, Macquarie University and TAFE  North Sydney Institute to provide a range of student placement programs.

KRS’ Student Placement Program gives students the opportunity to put theory in to practice and develop their skills in a supervised and supportive workplace.
