- Providing continuity of service delivery through flexible and innovative methods
- Adapting our approach and practices with a view to remaining operational and relevant to our target populations
KRS confirms it has been classified as an essential service, according to the definitions provided by State and Federal governments. It is our intention is to remain operational and continue to provide alcohol and other drugs (AOD) treatment services and support to new and existing clients.
KRS are registered as a NSW COVID safe business. Strict procedures have been implemented including thorough screening, hygiene, infection control and physical distancing measures to ensure our clients and staff are kept safe. QR code sign in is now mandatory at all facilities to ensure accurate contact tracing if necessary. These measures will allow all KRS programs to remain operational during the current outbreak of the Delta variant in NSW.
Our COVID-19 Response & Business Continuity Plan is being guided by updates from the Department of Health, NSW Government and NSW Health. This entails ongoing monitoring of the COVID-19 outbreak in NSW in order to guide our approach to treatment delivery, as well as to facilitate practices in line with community expectations for the safety of our clients and staff during this period.
