Kedesh recognise that maintaining an addiction not only takes a heavy toll on a person, but also on their family and loved ones. It influences the way families interact, and develops patterns in the way they behave together. Research confirms that addressing these patterns is associated with better treatment outcomes. The Family Assistance Programme at Kedesh is aimed at providing information to family members, reducing stress and tension in family relationships and helping members learn skills to improve communication and problem solving. The FAP provides Family Information Groups, Family Development Groups and a consultation and referral service. To enquire about the Family Assistance Programme, please call Tracy on (02)42607110.
