Kedesh currently undertakes research projects related to the evaluation of staff training in the better management of treatment/recovery support for people with co-existing drug and alcohol use and mental health disorders.

The development of research partnerships and evidence based workforce development programs ensure that KRS is well managed, well governed and appropriately resourced. Kedesh currently has a contract research partnership with the Illawarra Institute for Mental Health (iiMH) and the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Wollongong.

The overall objective of iiMH is to improve the mental health of the community and its individuals through research, training and service development through: collaboration between stakeholders, training of staff in international evidence, generating local evidence, and enabling management and clinicians to reflect on practice.
